Within its 8.58 inch diameter, the Star canopy elegantly combines the impactful visual appeal and bespoke look of a ceiling medallion with the functionality and sophistication of a ceiling canopy. This decorative ceiling canopy is pairs beautifully with mid century fixtures, but it's so versatile that it also complements modern, vintage, minimalist, transitional, and ornate chandeliers or pendant lights. Install on sloped or flat ceilings with electrical boxes 4.8 inches and under to hang fixtures up to 45 lbs. Instantly transform any chandelier or pendant light in your foyer, kitchen, dining room, bar area, living room, bathroom, bedroom, or guest room. The canopy plate itself has a 1.06 inch center hole and measures 1.26 inches at its tallest point to provide plenty of room for the mounting kit and wiring to comfortably fit within the plate - ensuring no hardware is exposed.
