Passage knobs are what you find on almost all doors. They come as a set (one for each side of the door) and will activate a latch to open the door.
Dummy knobs do not turn or activate a latch. They are mostly used on closets, sliding doors, and folding doors.

I absolutely love my cabinet pulls! They have a good weight to them and look great in my kitchen. I needed to swap sizes for some of my pulls and they were very responsive and accommodating. Shipping time was also very good. I recommend RCH!!
