Passage knobs are what you find on almost all doors. They come as a set (one for each side of the door) and will activate a latch to open the door.
Dummy knobs do not turn or activate a latch. They are mostly used on closets, sliding doors, and folding doors.

The quality of the letters were excellent. The customer service provided by Lauren far surpassed any experiences I've had in the past. Considering the products came from Washington all the way to Ontario, Canada, the service was amazingly quick and my letters arrived well packaged. There was not a single negative thing I can say about this company. All was positive.
I was unsure about what chains to order and the woman in customer service was so helpful in explaining the differences. When I did pick out a chain style, I asked that they begin and end with the round loop pieces, and that’s exactly how they came. They look great. Super pleased!
